It was a pleasure to be on the judging panel for the Overland Judith Wright Poetry Prize, 2021, with Toby Fitch and Keri Glastonbury. Between us we read almost 700 poems: what a range! So many heart-wrenching personal lyric poems, 'political' poems, avant-garde and experimental poems...! Very much looking forward to seeing all the shortlisted poems out in the world eventually... and the three stunning winning poems in the forthcoming Autumn issue of Overland.
